I’ve observed something profound about the world: it often tightens its grip around your throat, threatening to break you down. There are moments when it succeeds, where the yearning for money brings a fleeting sense of relief, a chance to breathe, rest, eat, and carry on with life’s journey. Yet, the instant I find my peace, it seems those around me shift, stirring complaints and gravitating toward darkness, as if I were expected to join them in their despair.
At first, I listened and watched, absorbing their negativity. Over time, though, that darkness dulled, creating space for new perspectives I never would have considered before. It's easy to say, "put yourself in someone else's shoes," but when it comes down to it, truly understanding life isn’t so simple. I realized, through my own journey, that no one can guide me to the truth I seek.
Sure, I attended church and followed the teachings for a while, but it all boiled down to one key insight: perception is everything, shaped by the myriad artificial ideas we encounter. It feels strange to admit that I often struggle to express my thoughts openly, as though something holds me back, preventing others from seeing this fresh perspective. I’m not against people following their beliefs; it’s the notion that those beliefs are set in stone that troubles me.
No one wants to be told to conform without question, and I certainly don’t want that, either. Instead, I encourage you to trust your instincts. Sometimes it leads you astray, and at other times, it guides you toward clarity. Embrace that instinct; it’s a crucial part of the journey.
